Comment on the CBD Local Spatial Development Framework (LSDF): Contextual Analysis <span> <h2 class="sectHeading">​​​​​​​​​​About​​​​​​​</h2></span> <p> A local spatial development framework: </p><ul><li>guides spatial development and land use management decisions within a designated local area; </li><li>informs public and private investment initiatives by clearly indicating the City’s future development vision; and </li><li>gives effect to the Council-approved Municipal Spatial Development Framework (MSDF) and district spatial development framework (DSDF) <br></li></ul><p>The intention of the CBD LSDF is to:<br></p><ul><li>facilitate transition planning that will ensure the CBD’s economic success </li><li>protect and maintain existing investments, while creating new opportunities to transform the area into a more liveable, inclusive and resilient space <br></li></ul><p>We have prepared a draft contextual analysis document that will form the basis for the proposed LSDF. </p><p> The contextual analysis document includes maps and text, which explain the background to spatial planning and investment in the area.
