Comment on the proposed application to renew the Cape Flats aquifer water use licence<span> <h2 class="sectHeading">​​​​​​​​​​About​​​​​​​</h2></span> <p>We intend to renew the water use licence at the National Department of Water and Sanitation; as part of our Cape Flats aquifer groundwater development.</p><p>Authorisation (licence number: 01/G40A/AE/7272) for abstraction of groundwater and the injection of high quality advanced treated effluent was issued to the City in December 2017.
