Comment on the proposed management agreement for various City-owned sports grounds in Subcouncil 12, 13, 16 and 18<span> <h2 class="sectHeading">About</h2></span> <p> In accordance with section 16.5 and 16.6 of the <a href="http://resource.capetown.gov.za/documentcentre/Documents/Bylaws%20and%20policies/Management%20of%20Certain%20of%20the%20City%20of%20Cape%20Towns%20Immovable%20Property%20Policy%20-%20approved%20on%2026%20August%202010.pdf">Management of certain of the City of Cape Town’s Immovable Property Policy</a> (adopted by Council on 26 August 2010 C54/08/10) and Chapter 4 of the Municipal Asset Transfer Regulations (2008) we are considering benefits and importance of involving local communities and regular users in the management, maintenance and security of sport assets. </p><p>We plan to enter into a Cooperative Management agreement with existing Sporting Committees to promote a sense of ownership, pride and communal responsibility.<br></p> <span> <div class="notification with-heading dark-copy pink bg-light-grey"><div
