<p>In accordance with the
<a href="http://resource.capetown.gov.za/documentcentre/Documents/Bylaws%20and%20policies/Management%20of%20Certain%20of%20the%20City%20of%20Cape%20Towns%20Immovable%20Property%20Policy%20-%20approved%20on%2026%20August%202010.pdf" target="_blank">Management of certain of the City of Cape Town’s Immovable Property Policy </a>(adopted by Council on 26 August 2010 C54/08/10) and Chapter 4 of the Municipal Asset Transfer Regulations (2008), the CACD Department is considering renewing the lease for the following City-owned property:</p>

<p>On the 15 March 2025, the City’s Public Participation Unit, together with the CACD Department, held a community meeting with the Bellville South community to provide feedback on:</p><ul><li>the expired property lease for Smurf Bubbles Educare NPO; and </li><li>the possible extension of the lease. </li></ul><p>We plan to renew and extend the Facility Management Agreement with
<strong>Smurf Bubbles Educare Centre (NPO260-177)</strong> to use, manage, control and further redevelop the above-mentioned property for use as an ECD Centre for a period of 10 years. </p><p>In terms of section 17 of the Local Government: Municipal Systems Act, Act 32 of 2000, you can submit comments to the municipality in respect of the proposed lease.</p><h4> Access the documents: </h4><ul><li>
