Get involved with the Mercy Aids Kids ClubGet involved with the Mercy Aids Kids Club<img alt="" src="https://resource.capetown.gov.za/cityassets/PublishingImages/City%20Connect%20Header%20Image.jpg" style="BORDER:0px solid;" /><div class="ExternalClassE5BAFEBF275249CABD32C16D5F6A8C91"><p>​The Mercy Aids Kidz Club is a regular programme for children from ages 9-11 which aims to create a safe space where children can play and develop relationships with responsible adults in their community. </p></div><span> <h2 class="sectHeading">Attend the Mercy Aids Kidz Club</h2> <p>The <a href="https://www.mercyaids.org/" target="_blank">Mercy Aids Organisation<i class="icon link-external"></i></a> partners with the City to run the Mercy Aids Kids Club.The programme takes place regularly and involves art and crafts lessons, bible studies and plenty of recreational games. All children between nine and 11 are welcome to join. </p> <p>The Mercy Aids Organisation currently runs their club from the <a href="https://www.capetown.gov.za/Family%20and%20home/see-all-city-facilities/our-recreational-facilities/Community%20centres/Fisantekraal%20Multipurpose%20Centre">Fisantekraal Multipurpose Centre</a>. Please visit the <a href="https://www.capetown.gov.za/Family%20and%20home/see-all-city-facilities/our-recreational-facilities/Community%20centres/Fisantekraal%20Multipurpose%20Centre">Fisantekraal Multipurpose Centre</a> for the individual programme schedule.  </p> <span> <h2 class="sectHeading">​​​​​​​​​​Volunteer with the Mercy Aids Kidz Club</h2> <p>Anyone who wishes to volunteer to help run the club is welcome. The organisation prefers a ratio of ten children to one adult, allowing for as much attention as possible. Volunteers must be 18 years or older, good with children, and available every week.
