The City’s Community, Arts and Culture Development Department (CACD) aims to ensure that all young children have access to sustainable ECD services that help their physical, mental, social, and emotional growth. We welcome your large and small donations towards the construction of ECD centres in Cape Town.

We aim to increase the number of children who can access quality
Early Childhood Development (ECD) centres by increasing the number of
registered ECD centres. Registered ECD centres must be compliant with the necessary health and safety requirements, as well as meet the educational and developmental needs of a child.
We invite businesses and organisations to invest in an ECD facility that complies with the
Provincial Government’s ECD Centre registration requirements and is built on City-owned land, especially in or near informal human settlements. By making a donation, you add value to our city and communities by providing access to registered ECD centres with improved educational outcomes.
