Our community centres and recreation hubs host a number of programmes for community members who are interested in music and singing.
Choir
Aquarius Sing Koor
Aquarius Sing Koor was founded in 2013 to allow young people to experience their heritage and culture. The choir sing traditional songs and perform in and around their community.
Aquarius Sing Koor practice takes place at the Bridgetown Community Centre.
Choir classes
Learn how to harmonise, sing in a group and even perform in public by attending our choir classes.

Music programmes
Bellville South Community Music Programme
Learn about music and how to play an instrument through our Community Music Programme. Classes include basic music theory and lessons in piano, guitar, clarinet, trumpet, and saxophone. Through our programme, we hope to get students to a level where they would be able to apply to study at a tertiary institution.
The Bellville South Community Music Programme is held at
Proteaville Recreation Centre.
Hip Hop Culture Programme
Learn about the street style culture of hip hop, including the clothing, music and dance moves, with the Hip Hop Culture Programme.
