Our Waste-To-Art programme focuses on waste minimisation by turning waste into art as well as promoting creativity, entrepreneurship and environmental sustainability awareness.
Why attend the market
The City's Waste-to-Art market aims to create awareness around how to reduce, re-use and recycle waste by bringing together art and craft entrepreneurs whose products are made from recycled waste material. Our primary objective is to divert waste going to our landfills and our secondary objective is to create and stimulate economic opportunities for our Waste-to-Art participants.
The event takes place at various times of the year and has been hosted at venues like The Company's Garden.
