Resolution detail
It was resolved that:
a) Line Departments be identified to report on the critical top 20 outstanding C3 notifications.
b) The summary schedule of service request notifications for Subcouncil 8 BE NOTED.
c) The departments be tasked to action the oldest items first.
d) That the report regarding Service Request Notifications report for Subcouncil 8 as at end February 2024, BE ACCEPTED.
e) That concerns raised BE FOLLOW UP with the various departments namely;
o Water and Sanitation – Sewer Department a lot of outstanding Sewer has a lot of outstanding service notifications logged which are open for more than 5 days and some of the complaints are raw sewer flowing in the streets
o Enquiry was made regarding the turnaround time for completion of their service notification?
o Repairing of street lights when it will take place?
That the Subcouncil Manager enquires why the line departments do not attend the scheduled Subcouncil Meetings.
