We have received numerous requests from Atlantis residents over the past months for more bus stops in their neighbourhoods. Officials from the Urban Mobility Directorate have investigated these requests and made a list of eight new proposed locations where we can add stops along the existing MyCiTi routes. </p><p>'I encourage residents and commuters, and all other interested parties, to please take note of the proposed locations. Send us your comments; we are eager to hear from you. We are looking for comments from MyCiTi users in particular, because you have direct knowledge and experience of the service,' said the City's Mayoral Committee Member for Urban Mobility, Councillor Rob Quintas.</p><p><strong>The proposed locations are as follows:</strong></p><table cellspacing="0" width="100%" class="ms-rteTable-default"><tbody><tr><td class="ms-rteTable-default" style="width:33.3333%;"><strong>Stop Name</strong></td><td class="ms-rteTable-default" style="width:33.3333%;"><strong>Proposed location</strong></td><td class="ms-rteTable-default" style="width:33.3333%;"><strong>Reference number</strong></td></tr><tr><td class="ms-rteTable-default">Gideon Basson</td><td class="ms-rteTable-default">Neil Hare Road, near intersection with Gideon Basson Street</td><td class="ms-rteTable-default">MC003/22</td></tr><tr><td class="ms-rteTable-default">Daimler-Benz</td><td class="ms-rteTable-default">Neil Hare Road, near intersection with Daimler-Benz Street</td><td class="ms-rteTable-default">MC004/22</td></tr><tr><td class="ms-rteTable-default">August Kotzenberg</td><td class="ms-rteTable-default">Neil Hare Road, near intersection with August Kotzenberg</td><td class="ms-rteTable-default">MC005/22</td></tr><tr><td class="ms-rteTable-default">Moravia</td><td class="ms-rteTable-default">Poeit Street, near intersection with Moravia Street</td><td class="ms-rteTable-default">MC006/22</td></tr><tr><td class="ms-rteTable-default">Windsor</td><td class="ms-rteTable-default">Tsitsikamma Road, near intersection with Windsor Road</td><td class="ms-rteTable-default">MC007/22</td></tr><tr><td class="ms-rteTable-default">Woodville</td><td class="ms-rteTable-default">Tsitsikamma Road, near intersection with Woodville Close</td><td class="ms-rteTable-default">MC008/22</td></tr><tr><td class="ms-rteTable-default">Brenton (relocation)</td><td class="ms-rteTable-default">Tsitsikamma Road, near intersection with Brenton Road</td><td class="ms-rteTable-default">MC009/22</td></tr><tr><td class="ms-rteTable-default">Hoogergeest</td><td class="ms-rteTable-default">Ghika Street, near intersection with Hoogergeest Street</td><td class="ms-rteTable-default">MC010/22<br></td></tr></tbody></table><p><strong>To view the precise locations for these proposed stops online, please visit:</strong> <a href="http://www.myciti.org.za/atlantis-stops-comment-2022" target="_blank">www.myciti.org.za/atlantis-stops-comment-2022</a> </p><p>'I want to add that the City will, initially, use temporary poles indicating these stops while we are testing the locations for convenience and safety and operational efficiency.
