Resolution detail

RESOLVED to RECOMMEND that the lease of City Land, Hartleyvale Field D and Bowling Green Field A, known as a Portion of Erf 28124 Cape Town, Portions of Erven 28095 Cape Town and Portions of Erf 28257 Cape Town,  situated at  Willow Road, Observatory, Cape Town, shown hatched and lettered ABCDEFGHJKLMNP and ABCDE on the attached lease plans 130008323 marked annexure A, in extent approximately 10 829m² and 1850m² respectively to Football Club Kapstadt or its successor in title, be approved subject to inter alia the following conditions, that:

1. A tariff rental of R1 252.00 per annum including VAT calculated at the rate applicable at the time of transaction be payable;

2. The lease will endure for a period of 10 (ten) years;

3. The rental will be adjusted annually in terms of the rental tariff structure as approved by Council;

4. The property be used for sporting, recreational and clubhouse  purposes only;

5. The applicant will be liable to pay the annual property rates for the subject properties;

6. Subject to such further conditions to be imposed by the Director: Property Transactions in terms of his delegated authority;

7. Subject to compliance with any other statutory requirements;

8. No compensation will be payable for any improvement made to the property.
