Request a meeting with the Executive Mayor

If you would like to request a meeting with the Executive Mayor, you can follow the steps below.

How to request a meeting

Please note

All meetings are accepted and scheduled at the discretion of the Executive Mayor.

Step 1: Put together your request, clearly stating your reason for wanting to meet with the mayor.

Include with your request a:

  • list of all officials you have consulted with before requesting a meeting
  • proposed agenda for the meeting
  • list of all proposed attendees of the meeting and their respective designations

Step 2: Once you have completed your request, you can submit it by emailing mayor.mayor@capetown.gov.za.

You can also hand deliver your request by putting it in the mayor’s internal post box, which can be found at the Podium Block information desk at the Civic Centre.
