Comment on the proposed one-way road conversion of Cheddar Road in Wynberg

Comment on the proposed one-way road conversion of Cheddar Road in Wynberg

We plan to convert Cheddar Road in Wynberg into a one-way road, and we want to hear from you.

About

We are proposing the introduction of a permanent one-way system along Cheddar Road, between Ottery Road and Kent Road, in Wynberg.

The one-way conversion aims to improve traffic flow, enhance safety, and create a more organised road environment around Wynberg High School. An area with many vulnerable road users during busy drop-off and pick-up times.

By participating in this process, your insights and feedback can help shape a safer, more efficient road for everyone.

In terms of Section 17 of the Local Government: Municipal Systems Act, Act 32 of 2000, you can submit comments to the municipality in respect of the proposed road conversion.
