Register to participate in the City’s Municipal Spatial Development Framework and eight District Plans (2025 – 2028) integration and review process

<div class="ExternalClass368EB36BC8954B92809991FDE16F5E90"><p>We are in the process of integrating and reviewing the Municipal Spatial Development Framework (MSDF) and the eight District Spatial Development Frameworks (District Plans) for the city, and we want to include you in the process. <br> <br> <strong>Registration will close on 25 July 2026.</strong></p></div>

<h2 class="sectHeading">About</h2><p> We are reviewing our <a href="https://www.capetown.gov.za/work%20and%20business/planning-portal/plans-policies-frameworks-and-guidelines/cape-town-spatial-development-framework">Municipal Spatial Development Framework (MSDF)</a> and <a href="https://www.capetown.gov.za/work%20and%20business/planning-portal/Spatial-Plans-and-Frameworks/spatial-development-framework-review">eight (8) District Spatial Development Plans (DSDFs)</a>. </p><p> Currently the MSDF and the eight DSDFs (District Plans) exist as stand-alone documents, which were approved by council on January 2023.
