Misty Cliffs Beach

Misty Cliffs Beach

About

Misty Cliffs is a spectacularly scenic area, squeezed between steep cliffs and the sea. Being elevated, it also offers good whale-watching opportunities between July and November, when Southern Right Whales can be seen just offshore. Much of the shore here is rocky, with long sections of boulders, and access is limited within the confines of the village. The beach is ideal for exploring rock pools. Black oystercatchers can usually be seen in the intertidal zone.
