Danger Beach

Please note

We ask that beach goers adhere to the signage on beaches- only animals on leashes are allowed on the beach.

About

Danger Beach is a popular surf spot and is so named on account of its rip tides and large waves. It is recommended that swimmers use the small tidal pool. The beach is situated conveniently close to St James train station in the False Bay area. The small strip of beach is accessed through a subway beneath the railway. Be sure to visit the nearby Octopus’ Garden Restaurant and Wine Bar. The trendy suburb of Kalk Bay is also just a short walk along the main road and offers a variety of restaurants and shops.
