<span> <h2 class="sectHeading">Employment opportunities</h2></span> <p>We have a number of programmes which provide skills training and employment opportunities for people with disabilities. You can read about some of them below.</p><p> <b>Expanded Public Works Programme (EPWP)</b><br> The City is committed to employing people with disabilities both directly at the City and through its <a href="https://www.capetown.gov.za/work%20and%20business/jobs-and-skills-development/youth-careers/find-an-opportunity-with-epwp">Expanded Public Works Programme (EPWP)</a>. People with disabilities who are interested in these programmes should also register on the job seekers database at their <a href="https://www.capetown.gov.za/Family%20and%20home/Meet-the-City/City-Council/Find-your-councillor-ward-or-subcouncil">local subcouncil office</a> or contact their <a href="https://www.capetown.gov.za/Family%20and%20home/meet-the-city/city-council/subcouncils/subcouncil-managers">subcouncil manager</a>. </p>
