Arderne Gardens
About
Arderne Gardens is a picturesque five-hectare park situated in Claremont. It has long been a favourite destination for Capetonian families and couples. Its shady glades and romantic nooks make it the perfect spot for wedding photographs. The park contains one of the richest collections of exotic trees and shrubs, including one of the largest trees in South Africa, the vast Moreton Bay Fig, or Wedding Tree, as it is commonly called.
We partner with the
Friends of the Arderne Gardens to maintain and improve this beautiful green space.
