    Over the past weekend, some residents reported temporary water discolouration in areas serviced by the Faure Water Treatment Plant (WTP). After investigation, the City identified treatment process anomalies as the cause. In terms of our commitment to producing high quality drinking water for Cape Town and surrounds, the plant was isolated on Saturday, 2 November 2024 for comprehensive testing.
