The weekend of 1 – 3 March is shaping up to be the busiest of the month. Read more below:<br></p><div>The Southern Mail Wynberg Family Festival, starting today, gets the month of events under way with three days of live music, carnival rides, delicious food, treats and more. </div><div><br></div><div>The event, which runs until Sunday at Maynardville Park, will keep patrons entertained with live performances from Jarrad Rickketts, Amy Jones, Mark Haze, Sons of Salessie, Berry Trytsman and DJ Ashton Parenzee, among others.</div><div><br></div><div>This evening at the Kenilworth Racecourse, revellers will get to witness some of the world’s top electronic dance music DJs performing at Ultra South Africa. </div><div><br></div><div>With appearances from Skrilex, Afrojack, Steve Aoki, Vintage Culture, W&W, Shimza and Kyle Watson, Ultra South Africa promises to be an electrifying experience. </div><div><br></div><div>On Saturday 2 March 2024, over 300 martial artists will participate in the 2nd Africa Youth Kung fu Championships to be held at the Fairbairn College in Goodwood.  </div><div><br></div><div>In Pinelands, the Cape Town Ramadaan & Lifestyle Expo will cook up three days of exhibitions, showcasing the food, culture and wares of the Muslim community.</div><div><br></div><div>The expo takes place at the Oude Molen Technical High School from today until Sunday. </div><div><br></div><div>‘Our Events Permit Office is anticipating to permit over 60 events of varying sizes for the month of March. This weekend, the officials will have their hands full as they will be monitoring no less than 26 events. We encourage residents and visitors to go out and support these events. As the City, we are enthused by the many event organisers who choose Cape Town. It offers engaging sessions with authors, interactive workshops, and a lively platform for fostering a love of literature and creative expression among the youth.</div><div><br></div><div>Events range from storytelling and activity sessions through to presentations, performances and workshops.
