Grassy Park residents advised of Eagle Park Road resurfacing project<p><strong>The City will be resurfacing the following roads in Eagle Park:</strong></p><p>•        Buck Road between Flamingo Way and 7th Avenue </p><p>•        Curlew Way between Buck Road and Buck Road </p><p>•        Curlew Close between Curlew Way and the cul de sac </p><p>•        Darter Crescent between Curlew Way and Curlew Way</p><p>•        Garnet Link between Jacana Lane and Curlew Way</p><p>•        Dikkop Close between Curlew Way and the cul de sac </p><p>•        Gallinule Close between Curlew Way and the cul de sac </p><p>•        Flamingo Way between Buck Road and Sorrel Way</p><p>In addition to these roads being resurfaced, the City will also be repairing damaged kerbs, channels, manholes and catch pits in this vicinity.</p><p>'I am glad to hear this residential area is receiving this important maintenance work and I am looking forward to seeing the fresh looking roads soon,' said the City's Mayoral Committee Member for Urban Mobility, Councillor Rob Quintas.</p><p>Commuters are advised to be cautious and to slow down when approaching the areas where work is underway. It is recommended that road users consider alternative routes if possible. Due to the high traffic volumes and risk of severe congestion along Buck Road during the day time, sections of the roadworks have been scheduled for the weekend.</p><p>Approximately 2,3km of roads will be resurfaced in the area. This work forms part of regular maintenance to prolong the longevity of the city's road network and will take place from Monday to Friday between 07:00 and 17:30.
