Film Cape Town image library takes city’s locations to the world<p>​Cape Town’s breathtaking film locations will again get the opportunity to be in the spotlight in a new consolidated image library.<br> <br>The Film Cape Town image library is now live on filmcapetown.com<br> <br>Featuring over 1 300 images and videos of locations across the city, the image library is designed to showcase the city’s amazing locations, film studios, infrastructure and diverse architecture.  <br> <br>It has been established to assist location scouts, location managers and international producers to identify potential locations in the pre-production phase.   <br> <br>Additionally, independent and emerging filmmakers can mine footage when they need it for establishing shots of Cape Town in their projects or use the images in promoting the city as a competitive international film destination.<br> <br>‘The upcoming peak season for film is just around the corner this summer and as the City, along with Film Cape Town, we are working on promoting the local film industry.
