City finalises road resurfacing in Belhar<p></p><span><p>The City identified certain snags during the final inspection after the roadworks were completed in December 2023 which requires some remedial work. </p><p>The remedial work required includes: </p><ul><li>Removing existing surfacing where it does not meet the specifications and replacing it with hot-mix asphalt</li><li>The reinstatement of traffic loops at the intersections </li><li>The reinstatement of the affected road markings that were removed during the remedial roadworks<br></li></ul> <figure class="subtopic-fullsize-img"> <img src="https://resource.capetown.gov.za/cityassets/Media%20Images%202/Symphony%20way.png" class="responsive" alt="" style="width:1008px;" /> </figure>​​</span><p>'Roadworks will again be done on both the carriageways of Symphony Way. Therefore, traffic moving in both directions will be affected between 09:00 and 15:30 on weekdays. If all goes according to plan, our team will be on site for only about eight days. We thank residents for their patience and understanding.
