Lookout Hill Tourism Centre
About
Lookout Hill Tourism Centre is based in Khayelitsha. The facility was built to be a meeting place between locals and tourists. The centre has many functional areas which include a restaurant, arts and craft hives, information centre, exhibition centre, two amphitheaters and a boardwalk. The boardwalk has 164 steps leading to the summit which is the highest point in the Cape Flats. This creates a platform for panoramic 360º views of the entire metropole. Being framed by the False Bay coastline and the Atlantic coastline, Lookout Hill offers a different view of Table Mountain, making it a valued tourist attraction.
