Comment on the proposed sale of City-owned property in Khayelitsha

We are considering the sale of the following City-owned property by way of a public competitive process, and we want to hear from you.

About

In accordance with Section 4 of the City’s Immovable Property By-law (2015) and Chapter 2 of the Municipal Asset Transfer Regulations (2008) we are considering the sale of the following City-owned properties:

The property is intended for residentially led mixed-use development. The development will contribute towards the City’s Human Settlement Strategy of delivering affordable housing in well-located areas. 

In terms of section 17 of the Local Government: Municipal Systems Act, Act 32 of 2000, you can submit comments to the municipality in respect of the proposed sale.
