Social housing institutions that are accredited by the Social Housing Regulatory Authority and would like to enter into partnerships with the City are invited to apply.

The City would like to partner with social housing institutions to provide affordable housing opportunities in Cape Town. If you would like to form a full or conditional partnership with us, you are welcome to apply.
Requirements
Before you can apply as an affordable housing partner, you need to ensure that you are accredited by the SHRA and you must have attended the compulsory briefing held on 30 June 2017 at the Council Chambers, Cape Town.
Conditional partnerships
To apply as a conditional partner you:
- Must be conditionally accredited by the SHRA
- Must be willing to participate in a capacity building programme as recommended by the City
- May have social housing stock under management (this is not a prerequisite for applying)
- Submit a certified copy of current conditional SHRA accreditation letter
- Submit a conflict of interest policy (if applicable)
Full partnerships
To apply as a full partner you must:
- Be fully accredited by the SHRA
- Have social housing stock under management
- Submit a certified copy of current full SHRA accreditation letter
