Provisions for advertising land use applications during the lockdown<h2 class="sectHeading">​​​​​​​​​​Pre-application consultation​​​​​​​</h2><p> <a href="http://www.capetown.gov.za/City-Connect/Apply/Planning-building-and-development/Land-use-applications/Request-a-pre-application-consultation-around-land-use-management">Pre-application consultations </a>will be allowed to take place during the lockdown period, provided that all relevant parties are available to meet remotely, via Skype etc., and where minutes are recorded and signed off. An email from the planner approving the minutes will be accepted.</p><h2 class="sectHeading">​​​​​​​​​​Land use application notices</h2><p>The notification for all new land use applications will continue to take place where possible, providing it meets legislative requirements.</p><h2 class="sectHeading">Notice to a person</h2><p>Land use application where a notice to a person is deemed applicable and previously issued by registered mail may also be issued by email, Where applicable, a Development Management case officer may contact you to confirm your email address on your business partner number and discuss the process for communicating.
