On behalf of the City of Cape Town, I would like to extend our wishes to the Jewish community who are observing Rosh Hashana at sunset on Sunday 2 October 2016.

We wish you peace during this time of reflection as the Jewish New Year commences.

May you be filled with a renewed sense of gratitude and spiritual faith during this time.

Our wish is that the New Year will be filled with joy, good health and hope for you and your families.
