RESOLVED UNANIMOUSLY:

a. That the application for rezoning of Erf 34847, Bellville from Single Residential 1 to General Residential 2, BE APPROVED in terms of Section 98(b) of the Cape Town Municipal Planning By-law, 2015, subject to the conditions contained in Annexure A.

b. That the application for permanent departure from the City of Cape Town Development Management Scheme in respect of Erf 34847, Bellville BE APPROVED in terms of Section 98(b) of the Cape Town Municipal Planning By-law, 2015 in order to permit the following (as indicated on the site layout plan, no. 101 revision 7, dated 27 August 2019):

i. Apartment building (Building 1) to be 1.0m from the southern erf boundary in lieu of the 4,5m common boundary building line.

ii. Apartment building (building 2) to be 0.0m and 1.0m from the western erf boundary in lieu of the 4.5m common boundary building line.

iii. Apartment building (Building 3) to be 0.0m from the northern erf boundary in lieu of the 4.5m common boundary building line.

iv. Permit 14 on-site parking bays in lieu of 20 on-site parking bays

c. That the application for permanent departure from the City of Cape Town Development Management Scheme in respect of Erf 34847, Bellville BE APPROVED in terms of Section 98(b) of the Cape Town Municipal Planning By-law, 2015, in order to provide less on-site parking bays than required in terms of the City of Cape Town Development Management Scheme, subject to the conditions contained in Annexure A.
