Residents advised of possible delays in refuse collection service due to shortage of standby vehicles

Residents throughout the City should be aware that there may be delays in the refuse collection service. This is due to a shortage of standby vehicles that operate in case of a breakdown.

Every attempt will be made to clear bins on the scheduled day, and residents are asked to leave their bins out until 22:30 each day until it is collected. The City will operate over the weekend to clear any backlogs as well.

The City is working with supply chain management in order to ensure that this is resolved as quickly as possible.

The City apologises for any inconvenience caused.
