City advises of water supply disruptions in Fish Hoek area: 28 February 2020

The City of Cape Town’s Water and Sanitation Department will be upgrading the water supply main in Kommetjie Main Road, Fish Hoek, on 28 February 2020. Read more below:

This construction work involves installing a new valve and replacing a few others.

As a result of these works, there will be a water supply disruption from 09:00 to 15:00 which will affect residents in the vicinity of Kommetjie Road between Riverside Road and 16th Avenue.

A water tanker will be stationed in 17th Avenue at the entrance of Trafalgar Place during this period.

Residents are kindly requested to store water in clean, sealed containers for use and all taps should be kept closed during this period to prevent water wastage and/or damage when the water supply is restored.

The City apologises for any inconvenience that may be caused while conducting this work, but it is imperative that the City maintains its water supply infrastructure in a manner that benefits its consumers.
