City advises of water supply disruption in Grassy Park

16 October 2020

The City’s Water and Sanitation Department plans to conduct emergency repairs to its water infrastructure in First Avenue in Grassy Park on Monday, 19 October 2020 between 10:00 and 17:00. As a result, parts of Grassy Park will experience low water pressure or no water supply during this time.  Read more below:

The department is doing all it can to complete the work in the shortest possible time, given the adverse conditions and the impact this may have on the community.

A water tanker will be stationed in the vicinity of Perth and First Avenue to supply water to residents for domestic use. Residents are however advised to prepare, where possible, by storing water upfront in clean sealed containers.

Residents are requested to keep their taps closed during this period to prevent water loss and/or water damage when the supply is restored.

The City sincerely regrets any inconvenience caused during this time.
