Attend a health promotion
During the Health Promotion a nurse is available to do basic health checks and give advice. As part of the health checks, the nurse will check for sugar diabetes and check your blood pressure and heart rate.
Bring along your child’s
ECD card and the nurse will advise you if your child is up to date with their immunisations. The nurse will also recommend you visit the nearest day hospital or
day clinic if necessary.
The
Kalksteenfontein Community Centre runs the Health Promotion once every three months. They will notify community members when the Health Promotion is scheduled to take place.
