Bikini Beach
About
Bikini Beach is rated as one of Cape Town’s top beaches due to its excellent facilities, cleanliness and safety standards. It is sheltered from the wind, and is especially popular among teenagers for sunbathing, swimming and socialising. Surfers ride the left-hand break off the harbour wall. Lifeguards are on duty during the Blue Flag season (December to March).
There are restaurants and hotels within a short walk from the beach, with the nearest located in the adjacent Gordon's Bay harbour area.
