The City’s social media accounts provide the latest news, events and information about Cape Town and its people. We welcome your queries, thoughts and opinions, however, we encourage our followers to read the information below carefully and adhere to our rules when engaging with us.

Operating hours

Our social media team is online during the following hours:

Monday to Friday:
07:30 - 16:00

Weekends and Public Holidays:
12:00 - 14:00

Outside of these times, you can contact us or report a service delivery issue online.

  • block members who contravene these guidelines.
