Going paperless also reduces the financial and environmental cost associated with printing bills on paper. </p><p>Get your smart bill now! Follow the steps below to register.</p></div>

<h4>Register for paperless billing by 31 December 2025.</h4>
<p>To make it as easy as possible for our commercial and residential customers, all you need to do is send an email or SMS with your email address and account number to register for emailed accounts. </p>

<p> Account holders without email addresses are advised to call the City’s Call Centre on

<strong>Step 2: </strong>Follow the instruction wizard and fill in all your information.</p>

<strong>Step 1: </strong>Log into
<a href="https://eservices.capetown.gov.za/irj/portal" target="_blank">e-Services</a> and click on the 'Municipal accounts' tab at the top of the screen</li><li>
<strong>Step 2: </strong>Click on 'eBilling'</li><li>
<strong>Step 3:</strong> Make sure that you have 'email' listed as your medium, then click on 'Change Email' to change your email address.</li></ul>
