About

​Cape Town is unique due to its high concentration of local flora and fauna species. Our nature reserves protect and conserve our city’s natural areas and biodiversity heritage. Edith Stephens Nature Reserve has picnic sites, environmental education, a venue for hire as well as various events held annually.

The environmental education centre provides local residents and schools with conservation, recreational and educational opportunities, from teacher's workshops to children's holiday programmes.
