The City’s technical teams have been working on the pipe break since Friday, 18 December 2020.  Water tankers were roaming the area during this period. The burst was finally isolated after 04:00 on Monday, 21 December 2020, and the water supply was restored.

The City has made the best attempt to resolve the issue as soon as possible, but the burst was more complex than anticipated.

Repairs to the pipe will continue this week and residents may experience low pressure.  All attempts will be made to minimise disruptions. 

The City regrets the inconvenience caused and appreciates the patience and cooperation of the community leaders and residents as we worked to resolve the problem.
