Water supply disruption in the Lavender Hill and Vrygrond areas due to pipe break

The City’s Water and Sanitation Department has currently shut off the water supply to the Lavender Hill and Vrygrond areas, in order to repair a pipe break.Emergency repair work is being addressed by the City’s technical teams to fix a 300mm pipe break at the corner of Military and Stormvoel Roads in Lavender Hill.
This shut off will disrupt water services to the Lavender Hill and Vrygrond areas from 13:00 until 19:00 today.
Water tankers are roaming the area to provide the public with water for domestic use.
The City regrets any inconvenience caused and the matter is receiving our urgent attention.
