There has been a delay with servicing green-lid bins for recycling in the northern suburbs due to a dispute between the contractor operating the facility in Kraaifontein and their employees.

The service is expected to normalise over the coming days.

Residents are advised the contractors will be clearing the backlog in the areas below tomorrow:

•      La Rochelle
•      Blommendal
•      Oak Glen
•      Sonstraal
•      Amanda Glen
•      Everglen
•      Rosendal
•      Wellway Park East
•      Rosendale
•      Langeberg Ridge

Residents need to leave their recycling bins out until 18:00 on the scheduled day of removal. If they are not serviced on the day, then they can be taken back onto the property and placed out again on their next scheduled collection day in the week.

Residents living in areas not mentioned above should put out their recycling bins on the next scheduled collection day during the week.

Thank you for your patience during this time.
