The upgrades to the clinic focused on extending the TB room, with its own waiting room, as well as a more spacious pharmacy.

The extension of the facilities got under way in March 2022, but in preparation for the works, City Health moved the bulk of the Sarepta Clinic operations to the nearby Community Hall in July 2021.

‘The staff and clients can now enjoy the additions to the facility, which will not only improve service delivery, but also increase the clinic’s capacity to assist clients. City Health continues to invest in improving its basket of services, and this upgrade is but one more example of the good work being done in this regard,’ said the Portfolio Committee Chairperson for Community Services and Health, Councillor Ronel Viljoen.
