'We are quite pleased to see that this work is going according to its planned timelines and Panorama residents can expect smooth driving along Uys Krige Drive very soon. This would not be possible without the co-operation of motorists and residents, we thank all for their patience during the course of this work. Road markings, as well as the traffic light at the intersection, will be reinstated once resurfacing is complete,' said the City's Mayoral Committee Member for Urban Mobility, Councillor Rob Quintas.

Residents and commuters who make use of this stretch of road are advised that traffic travelling in both directions of Uys Krige Drive will continue to be affected as work is scheduled to take place on both carriageways. 

All lanes reopen to traffic by 15:00 on weekdays, and at 18:00 over the weekend.
