The resurfacing of Sacks Circle Industria and Elsies River Industria entails the milling of the existing road surface which will then be replaced with new asphalt road surface.

The following road sections will be affected:

De Beer:   Sacks Circle - End

Van Eck:   Sacks Circle - End

Van Der Bijl:  Sacks Circle - End

Dorbyl:   Sacks Circle - End

Sacks Circle:   Railway Crossing - Tip Turn-off

16th Street:   8th Ave - Consani

6th Avenue: 16th Street   - 23rd Street

23rd Street:   6th Avenue - Coleman

19th Street:   6th Avenue - Consani

7th Avenue B: 16th Street - End

Coleman:   23Rd Street - Canal Crossing

Consani:   16th Street - Halt

6th Avenue:  16th Street - Halt

11th Street:   8th Ave - 7th Ave

12th Street:   8th Ave - 7th Ave

14th Street:   8th Ave - 7th Ave

Traffic moving in both directions will be affected and congestion is expected as there will be partial road closures. Flag personnel will direct traffic through temporary detours around the work area. It is recommended that road users consider alternative routes.

'This work forms part of our regular maintenance to prolong the longevity of the City's road network. I am certain that residents and businesses in the area will be quite pleased with the smooth road surface outcomes.
