​The work will be done on the following roads:

• Begonia Street
• Prunis Street
• Bloekom Avenue
• Goldbel Street
• Goldstein Street
  
• Broadway Street
• Dias Street
• Columbus Street
• Adenandra Street
• Mahonie Street
• Tulsa Close
• Jakaranda Road
• Marigold Street
• 5th Avenue
• Rue Foche Road
• and Paris Way.

The details of the resurfacing and rehabilitation of these roads include the milling of existing road surface and filling it with a new asphalt layer. All road markings removed during the process will also be reinstated.

‘We would like to thank road users and residents for their patience over the next few weeks as we resurface these sections of the road network in Eerste River. Flag personnel will direct traffic through temporary detours around the work area. The aim is to keep Cape Town moving and ensure that we leave the community with good quality roads,’ said the City’s Mayoral Committee Member for Urban Mobility, Councillor Rob Quintas.
