Residents alerted to temporary road closure in Kuils River

pcoming road closure along Church Street between Amandel Road and Liedla Street in Kuils River.Roadworks are planned from 20 February until 30 September 2023 and will take place from Monday to Saturday from 07:30 until 17:30 weather permitting.
The temporary road closure is necessary to accommodate safety and traffic management while construction for the dualling of Amandel Road, Kuils River is under way.
‘Alternative routes to access Amandel Road are available via Annandale Road, Liedla Street, Waternooientjie Street and Langverwacht Road. The City will ensure that clear road closure and detour signage is in place to direct motorists to Amandel Road via the alternative access routes. I want to ask residents to please be patient while the construction is under way,’ said the City’s Mayoral Committee Member for Urban Mobility, Councillor Rob Quintas.
Road users are advised to consider using alternative routes, if possible and that vehicles parked in the demarcated areas and obstructing the construction work will be moved or towed away.
