Greater Tygerberg Partnership to raise funds for hearing impaired at Movie in the Park event

The Greater Tygerberg Partnership, an NGO that works in partnership with the City of Cape Town to promote urban renewal, social and economic development in the greater Tygerberg area, will be hosting a fund-raising event on Saturday, 6 February 2016.
A movie night will be held at the Jack Muller Park on Frans Conradie Road, Bellville and all proceeds will be donated to the Carel Du Toit Trust in support of hearing impaired children at the Carel Du Toit Centre in Bellville. The film to be screened will be the classic ‘50s musical, “Grease”, and is suitable for all ages.
“Subcouncil 6 supports the Greater Tygerberg Partnership’s effort to improve social cohesion through its outreach programme, Movies in the Park. I encourage all interested residents to consider supporting this worthy cause,” said Cllr Sam Pienaar, Chairperson of Subcouncil 6.
