We are very proud of our national team for their performance in the Africa Netball Cup. Our team did incredibly well, displaying impressive skill over their opponents and not losing any games. This is an excellent warm-up and I am confident they will do well to bring home gold once again in the 2023 Netball World Cup.

Cape Town also hosted the U19 Netball Championships in June this year and we are looking forward to hosting the Netball Test Match between SA and England later this year. We hope Cape Town’s hosting of the 2023 Netball World Cup will further boost the profile of the sport and demonstrate the talent and skill of our netball team.
