23 October 2026

Ideal opportunity for property owners to find out how they can earn an income by building safe, legal, and affordable rental flats

The City is helping small-scale developers and landowners in selected areas to navigate building affordable rental flats that are of a better quality, safer, and legally connected to services such as water, sanitation, and electricity. Next week, our Local Planning Support (LPS) team is visiting Khayelitsha and all property owners are invited to attend.

This is the ideal opportunity for property owners in Ilitha Park, Khaya, Harare, Victoria Mxenge, Nonqubela, Eyethu, Mandela Park, Silvertown, and Umrhabulo Triangle to find out how they can earn an income by building safe, legal, and affordable rental flats.
