​The City’s Atlantis Motor Vehicle Licensing and Registration office previously only operated on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays. This month, the Atlantis licensing office has extended its operating hours from Monday to Friday, 8:00 to 15:30. It is important to note that this office is not open to members of the public over the weekend.

We remind customers to only visit an office if absolutely necessary and to rather make use of our online options. If customers must visit a customer or licensing office in person, please remember that there is Covid-19 screening at the entrances and a limited number of customers are allowed in at a time due to Covid-19 regulations. Social distancing must be adhered to and masks are compulsory. The length of queues inside the office might seem long due to the social distancing and other Covid-19 measures that are in place.

The City also gives preference to the elderly, infirm residents and pregnant women among others. Elderly and disabled customers are please requested to move to the front of the queue so that they can be assisted. From there our officials will do what they can to assist by expediting their business or providing safe seating if required.
