City hosts thousands of hopefuls for enforcement job assessments

The assessments started on Monday 29 July 2019 and will see an average of 1 050 candidates being assessed each day, over a 12-day period.
The physical assessment requires candidates to run a distance of 2,4 kilometres, do a set number of push ups and sit ups as well as shuttle runs, in a race against the clock.
Mayoral Committee Member for Safety and Security, Alderman JP Smith, will conduct an oversight visit to the assessment process tomorrow.
